Dayton Contemporary Dance Company
Background and Performance Video

 

Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, which was founded in 1968 by Dayton, Ohio native, Jeraldyne Blunden, is the oldest modern dance company in Ohio, and one of the largest companies of its kind.

​

They approached us to create a video that captures their history along with the quality of their performances to be used in several ways; on their website, in fundraising campaigns,  and as a booking tool to send to performing arts organizations.

​

The solution was to create a video that can be broken up into two parts and used as three videos, a performance section, an interview section, and both combined.

 

We recruited a local spoken word artist and composer to create a custom piece to accompany the choreography created for the video.

Mobile App TV Ads

ooVoo was looking to expand its user base in the United States of its multi-user video call app and asked us to create a series of TV ads that highlight the different ways selected personas commonly use the app and place them in 5 markets throughout the country. 

​

After one month of running the campaign, we saw an increase in monthly downloads of ~18% with a cost per download of less than $3.

A local economic development organization approached us to make an animated explainer video to use in presentations and on their website that details the benefits of locating a business in their community.

GE Capital Pivot+
Market Test TV Ad

​

GE Capital, after a series of underperforming ads, asked us to create an "In Your Face" eye-catching TV ad to conduct market research for a new multi-store rewards credit card in the Chicago Metro area. 

​

Since the stores in the card network were mostly home goods, our strategy was to create a humorous ad where the protagonist exaggeratedly destroys her living room in response to a football play, which was done as a secret ploy. Unfortunately, the ads  were never run because GE sold off their capital division, which became Synchrony Financial.

Crown Equipment asked us to create a sales video explaining the features and benefits of their Fleet Stats product to use on their website and in sales presentations.  We created an isometric animated video that matched their brand standard and messaging tone.

Homebrew Box
Digital Video Ad

 

Homebrew Box needed a video explaining the features and benefits of their subscription home beer brewing box to use as social media ads. We created a short video that shows all the ingredients that come in the box, the process of homebrewing, and people socially enjoying the results of their labor.

The ad had an above average click-through-rate with a below average cost-per-click.

Mongomery County Public Health Department
Responsible Gambling Digital Video Ads

​

The Mongomery County Public Health Department received a grant from the state to produce public service digital ads to be used on social media. Their budget was very small for its objective. Our strategic solution was to reuse the elements from the state's media library, animated them, and create positive and encouraging messaging around responsible gambling, since negative advertising has been shown to have a backfire effect in changing behavior in public service announcement type campaigns.
